Reviews
Hollenegg was first mentioned in 1163 A.D.

Very nice place with excellent old castle.
the place is beautiful
Very nice facility.
Definitely worth a visit.
Been here a few times.
I found something: Kulturzentrum Rossstall Schloss Hollenegg. Let's see what this place is, shall we?
I researched and found such information (Google map always helps, even the reviews of local guides are great and reliable, since I also have a Local Guide qualification (level 10!).
This is more than enough to visit this place! I knew that it was closed, it cannot be visited now, but until then it will be wonderful to drive, we will see the rest.
I also found out, after some research, that there will be an exhibition in May 2022.
Since 1821, the castle has been the property of the princes of Liechtenstein and their summer residence. [1] The castle in Deutschlandsberg-Hollenegg was then bought by Prince Johann I for his son, Franz de Paula, II. to the great-grandfather of József Ferenc, the head of state of Liechtenstein.
The former castle was built around 1200, and two inner courtyards were created during the construction of the 19th-century residential wing.
The castle is not open to the public. It is the site of events a few times a year, and you can enter the castle at these times. Such an event will take place in May 2022.
Beautiful.... freely accessible, well-kept outdoor area with a pond and beautiful old trees. The inside of the castle can only be visited during various events. Worth a trip.
Hollenegg Castle is beautifully situated and can be seen from afar near Bad Schwanberg and Deutschlandsberg. Even though the noticeboard said it was supposed to be open, it was closed. So our special journey was free 🥲🥲🥲
